Aleksander Burba

Aleksander Adolfovich Burba (Алекса́ндр Адо́льфович Бу́рба) is a senior engineer of the Research Department of the Mednogorsk Copper-Sulfur Plant (MCSP) in Orenburg. He rose to political significance after stepping in to rebuild Orenburg in the aftermath of the Great Patriotic War. He is a paternalist and is in favor of the centralization, industrialization and the democratization of Orenburg.

Pre-war

In 1918, he was born in Yenakievo, Ukrainian State. He began working while still in high school in Rykovo. From 1939 to 1941, he attended Rostov State University and studied chemistry.

Post-war

If he assumes power in Orenburg, he turns it into a technocratic democracy. He plans to centralize Orenburg, in contrast to its current arrangement of anarchic communes with a weak Worker’s Council, and wishes for a single chairman to control it in order to execute his plans for a prosperous, industrialized Orenburg and bolster the defense of the city and surrounding communes against the threat of Eastern raiders. Moreover, he wishes to reorganize the military situation of Orenburg from the previous local militias into a professional military. He is also in favor of closer cooperation with the Ural League and an alliance between the two is possible.
