Alexey Dobrovolsky
Alexey Alexandrovich Dobrovolsky (born 13th October 1938) is a Russian warlord and self proclaimed "Aryan," who is the leader and founder of the Aryan Brotherhood.
Background
Early-life
Alexey Alexandrovich Dobrovolsky was born in Moscow, then capital of the Soviet Union. It would only be a very few years until the Reich would strike at the USSR. Dobrovolsky was evacuated to the east, alongside his family and people who taught him about the values of socialism. However, this would all change in the West Russian War.
West Russian War and defection
At first, near the end of his adolescence, he joined the Red Army of the West Russian Revolutionary Front to fight against the Germans, and while the Front managed to break the A-A line, retake territories and weaken them as a whole, they would be beaten again. Being shocked by the terror he saw, he suffered some form of mental trauma, from which that point would lead to his insanity, quickly defecting from the Red Army and was not seen again.
For a while it seemed he was missing, but in reality, he was trying to reconcile with the situation on how the Germans won. Due to his trauma, he developed a rather insane interpretation of German National Socialism.
Present-day
Holding up one of the most merciless and terrifying forces of Russia with a firm hand, Dobrolovsky gazes into the farthest reaches of Russia, seeking to return it to the cradle of Aryan civilization. However, the task seems to be almost impossible, and it would take a lot of luck to win this supposed one million dollar lottery, as their state is, while mostly merciless, is also the most incompetent.
Involvement
Dobrovolsky is the Aryan Brotherhood's starting leader, and will pose quite a challenge to play as him. In the beginning, he really does not have any form of heavy industry, machinery, nor do they even have tanks or planes at their disposal, entirely relying upon either pure "Aryanized" Russians or slaves commanded by those same "Aryans." But through his focuses, the player will be able to solve the issues of the military and slave industry, either by small concessions or force. A special mechanic for the Aryan Brotherhood exists that generates manpower, and that is the imposition of an Aryan Cult upon the population, which in the process, depending on which route the military shall be composed of, will generate either a small or large number of manpower.
After all that is complete, they will initiate final raids once the bombers stop bombing the areas due to the German Civil War that inevitably happens after Adolf Hitler's death. At this point, the only thing left to do is to reunify the West Russian region through force only. After that, taking back Onega might pose a challenge unlike for most West Russian leaders, as the Aryan Brotherhood suffers from a technological disadvantage, but with a good amount of troops prepared and trained, as well as with good strategy, player can easily take back Onega and even reclaim back Karelian territories taken by Finland.
At the regional stage, Dobrolovsky will proceed to implement his policies through brutal force, as he enslaves most of the population living in those regions, as well as starts the eradication of the Russian language, in order to be replaced with a bizarre variant of German called "Deytch." But it is at this stage that a power struggle begins between the faction of reformists within the brotherhood, led by Valery Yemelyanov, who believe that Slavs are true Aryans and that the Germans are controlled by Zionists. The player, at this point, can take routes that favor either Valery's reformists or Dobrolovsky's followers, so if the player takes focuses that favor Dobrolovsky, Dobrolovsky will sentence Valery and his followers to death for being "subversive traitors," and after that, Dobrolovsky will finally finish implementing his reforms.
The economic focuses imply that Dobrolovsky uses a modernized version of an ancient pre-feudal system of slavery, similar to those of Germany, with things inherited from parts of capitalism like paper money and technology being present, although only available to "Aryans" and not slaves that make up the vast majority. For the military, he can either reform it to resemble the Wehrmacht, or he can make his own variant that suits the needs of the region they are in. And lastly, in his diplomatic focuses, he decides to contact the Reich for a special Pan-Aryan congress, to which he explicitly either gets mocked, confused or outright disgusted by whoever won the German Civil War.
At the super-regional stage, he continues and tries to contact the Germans, with no responses to be found in any way. However, instead of finally acknowledging that they did not see them as allies, Dobrolovsky and his leadership conclude that the reason why they did not respond to their messages was because the Zionist spies intercepted and broke the communications. After all that banter, they keep on adding more slaves to their disposal, implement their culture upon newly conquered lands.
Dobrolovsky is one of the hardest warlords to play, not only does he not have a proper industry in the beginning, he neither cannot reunify with any other warlord, nor can he amass a very large army even with a constant enforcement of cult dominance upon the population, and combined with a fact that coring times for the newly conquered areas are the longest out of any warlord, it is not recommended to play as him, until the player knows how to reunify Russia with the other warlords.
Quote upon unification
"In a hundred years time, perhaps, a great man will appear who may offer them a chance at salvation. He'll take me as a model, use my ideas, and follow the course I have charted."
—Adolf Hitler
