Dominican Civil War

The Dominican Civil War is a potential civil war between the Dominican government and revolutionaries if negotiations fail in the aftermath of a Caribbean Legion victory in the Puerto Plata Invasion.

The Dominican Civil War has many outcomes after the war. If Joaquín Balaguer wins, he will still try to improve the relationship with the United States and continue a relationship with the Iberian Union because his regime is already part of the Iberian economic sphere. Still, his ideology remains a civilian dictatorship. If the Caribbean Legion wins, they will become the new Dominican Republic and start getting ready for the election if peaceful cooperation between revolutionary factions or if not, there will be a otential breakdown between revolutionaries and attempt a socialist revolution if successful. If Román's negotiation fails, Ramfis Trujillo will coup the government, kill Román, and declare war on the revolutionaries. If Ramfis wins, the outcome is similar to Rafael Trujillo's victory in the Puerto Plata Invasion.
