The Modernists (Russian: Модернисты, Modernisty) are one of the four political salons of Tomsk, the others being the Humanists, Bastillards and the ruling Decembrists. Primarily concerned with creating a technocratic government within a liberal-democratic framework, the Modernists find their popularity chiefly amongst the intelligentsia and innovators who wish to see a more scientifically-charged Tomsk.
