The Norwegian State is a country situated in Northern Europe. It borders the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Finland to the east, the Barents Sea to the north, and the Norwegian and North Seas to the West. Norway is an ally of the Greater Germanic Reich and part of the Einheitspakt. Its main language is Norwegian.
History
During World War II, Norway attempted to remain neutral; unfortunately for Norway, in 1940 the German Wehrmacht launched a vast combined-arms operation to secure it as a "protectorate against British invasion". While the invasion was successful, the German occupation proved to be troublesome; the Norwegians and military were far less cooperative than their cousins in the Kingdom of Denmark, which was compounded with the King, his cabinet, the royal family and leading politicians escaping with the remnants of their navy.
As there was no one to sign a formal surrender, the unstable military administration of von Falkenhorst was unable to effectively deal with continued civil disobedience and increasing partisan and commando activity. In an attempt to improve stability, a power-sharing agreement left the judicial, executive and later legislative branches controlled by the native Nasjonal Samling (NS) party with Vidkun Quisling as Minister-President, while the Reichskommisar of Norway, Joseph Terboven, was in charge of overseeing Norway's eventual integration into the Reich.

Economy
Norway's economy is not in good shape: it has a starting GDP of 3.81 billion and a real GDP growth rate of 2.490% with a debt-to-GDP ratio of 57.9%, and over 30% of its population lives in poverty. In addition, Norway enforces a policy of forced agrarianism despite a lack of arable land, which only serves to worsen its economy. Norway starts with a small 6 production units; 2 are assigned to civillian factories, 3 are assigned to military factories and 1 is assigned to consumer goods.
