The Irkutsk government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics is a Russian warlord state located in the far east of Russia. Controlled by the remnant of Nikolai Bukharin's Bolshevik government, it is one of the two rival official claimants to be the successor to the old Union of Soviet Socialist Republics after World War II (the other being Tyumen). It occupies the city of Irkutsk and its surrounding areas. Irkutsk borders the Buryat Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic to the east through the Baikal Lake, the Siberian Black Army to the west, the Mengjiang United Autonomous Government to the south and the Unorganized Siberian Territories to the north.
