The Egyptian Wafd Party (Arabic: Hizb al-Wafd) is a nationalist, liberal and Egyptian nationalist party that is the current ruling party of the Kingdom of Egypt. It is one of the three major political factions of Egypt alongside the Muslim Brotherhood and the Free Officers Movement.
