The Greek Insurgency is a guerrilla war between Greek resistance groups against the collaborationist Hellenic State, the Italian Empire and the Republic of Turkey.
History
Since the beginning of the Italian occupation, Greek Partisans of various ideologies retreated into the mountains to continue the fight. most of the efforts of the Security Battalions in the 1950s were targeted towards the EAM, the paramilitary wing of the Greek Communist Party.
