The Military Information Service (Servizio Informazioni Militare or SIM) is the Italian military intelligence agency and a parallel to the German Abwehr. It is largely responsible for intelligence and security issues surrounding the military of the Italian Empire and serves as the foreign intelligence agency of the state.
