All countries have their own policies. These policies elaborates a course a nation adopts and enforce on it's populace. It give various bonuses, debuffs and effects your gameplay. These are split between several categories:

  • Political Policies: showcases the nation's approach to governance and politics
  • Military Policies: showcases the nation's approach to military matters such as manpower and training
  • Economic Policies: showcases the nation's approach to economic matters such as trade, taxation and labor
  • Social Policies: showcases the nation's approach to welfare and gender rights

Policies cannot be changed manually in normal gameplay except by national focus trees.
