The initial American focus tree has 3 main branches, however since by the start date some focuses are already completed the player only has the option to either veto or pass the civil rights act, as Nixon has already been working away at his focus tree since 1960.

- Here, Nixon decides the course the country will take towards the fledgling Civil Rights Movement.

- Here, the Nixon Administration decides its stance on foreign policy.

Senator Nixon has now been proclaimed President Nixon, and with his inauguration through, it's time for a beautiful new decade for America. With the former Axis seemingly facing twilight, and twenty years of policy in America seemingly coming to a head domestically and abroad, this may be the most decisive presidency in American history.

The Campaign Trail	Requires The Nixon Presidency	They can't lick our Dick! While many claim campaigning should be separate from the presidency, the truth is that one of the most important roles of the president is ensuring his party remains in power, especially so that they may have the decade to rule. Let's make sure Nixon has the time he needs to properly see his vision through.
Keep it Clean	Requires The Campaign Trail Not: Let America know how much of a pocket liberal you are and bend over backwards for the whim of a fascist funded mob of Jews and Communists who will spit on your grave no matter how much of a tight bussy you have to keep the fuckers pleased. All is well. Mutually exclusive with Get Our Hands Dirty	The Republican-Democrat Party will run a clean and orderly campaign. A clean campaign is a good campaign, while maybe not the most effective, President Nixon is a good man, and knows that as an example to the American people he must show them that the rule of law must always win out.
Campaign in the South	Requires Keep it Clean All is well.	The R-Ds will improve their chances of winning southern states. The "Solid South" has been a stronghold of the Democrats for almost a century, and we're not about to let these NPP upstarts take it from us.
Campaign in the West	Requires Keep it Clean All is well.	The R-Ds will improve their chances of winning western states. The West, especially California, is the place most affected by the treaty ports, and by campaigning there Nixon can demonstrate his commitment to retaking them, undercutting one of the NPP's biggest points.
Campaign in the East	Requires Keep it Clean All is well.	The R-Ds will improve their chances of winning northern states. The great cities of the north are excellent opportunities for Nixon to shore up his support among the urban population, a demographic likely to sympathize with the NPP, and to show the world American democracy inaction.
Reassure Dixiecrats	Requires all of the following: - Campaign in the South - Campaign in the West All is well.	Improve the chances of Dixiecrats - Democrats in the South, voting for the R-Ds. Many of the Dixiecrats are afraid that if reelected, Nixon would support the Civil Rights movement and even attempt desegregation. We must assure them that this is not the case.
Calm the Progressives	Requires all of the following: - Campaign in the North - Campaign in the West All is well.	Improve the chances of progressives voting for the R-Ds. Progressives across the West and North are concerned that Nixon will bend to segregationists and oppose the cause of civil rights. We need to promise them that he will not.
Reestablish the Party	Requires all of the following: - Reassure Dixiecrats - Calm the Progressives All is well.	Reduce disunity within the Republican-Democrats A divided party is a weak party, and we Republican-Democrats need to focus instead on what unites us: opposing those crazy radicals in the NPP.
Investigate NPP Corruption	Requires Reestablish the Party All is well.	We may uncover NPP corruption, boosting R-D election chances. How did a bunch of nut job radicals get this much funding? Something smells fishy, let's get to the bottom of it. A full FBI investigation will be conducted on the NPP, and we will crack them wide open for the whole nation to see before they can subvert our democracy!
Get Our Hands Dirty	Requires The Campaign Trail Mutually exclusive with Keep it Clean	The Republican-Democrat Party will run a 'clean' and 'orderly' campaign. Sometimes, rolling up your sleeves and getting in it is the only way for victory. The NPP wants a war, let's God damn show these sons of bitches one.

Although the fascists in the NPP may have lots of German cash to spend on propaganda, they will never have as much as the Republican-Democrats, with the support of both big business and the people, can muster.
