'Aged' versus 'age'

Is there any reason why the age of every character, including those that are still alive by the 'present day' of the mod (1 January 1962), must be accompanied by the word 'aged' (in past participle form) instead of 'age'? Wikipedia only uses the former for deceased people, not living people (which uses the latter). --Arya Snow (talk) 11:58, 27 November 2020 (UTC)

Capitalization Changes

I'm just curious why you keep changing my header capitalization. "Prelude" is fine but "OFN summit and intervention" looks bad and wrong. Canon

Seeing as the TNO devs have stated that they're getting rid of the canon, I'm assuming all references to it (e.g. Zhukov's page stating he is the canon unifier) should be removed, right? --An Imperialistic Tea Addict

Regarding categories, yes, I think that's my mistake I do since out of some issues I have with my mouse or so, or maybe because I tend to scroll down too fast and drag some text all over the place, not realizing I moved the categories up there. I apologize for that, will try to not be as it is. As for the punctuation, I've been catching on the way on how you do the articles, so no worries about that, but do expect to still have some mistakes since you know, I tend to write out articles in one full go and fast as possible. Hope you understand, and I will gladly try to improve in the future. P.S. Hopefully, my edits so far did not had any form of disinformation, since you know, I wanted to play out all Tomsk leaders before finishing up their pages here. Peace --OktanHR3D

Ideologies and sub-ideologies

Regarding this topic, I have two questions:

• 1. Will the wiki be switching the names of AuthSoc and LibSoc to Communism and Socialism (respectfully) to coincide with the Toolbox Theory update?
• 2. With the introduction of subideologies, is it alright to write them down in the Ideology sections on certain pages if they are linked to their respective main ideologies? --Cyberpunk93

Hi Tommy! I'm the new wiki representative for The New Order: Last Days of Europe Wiki, so feel free to reach out if you have any need for wiki support, either personally or in general around the wiki.

I'd like to recommend the mobile theming update right away while I'm here. It's found in the theme designer and if activated will display the wiki themes on mobile devices. It'll be automatic later this month, but doing it early give you a chance to check for contrast issues, which could exist in both the light and dark themes. Main Page

Hi Tommy, I was just taking a look at the main page and had a couple of suggestions, if I may. The first thing I noticed was the table of contents, which stood out because I've never seen one on a main page before. You can remove it by adding __NOTOC__ anywhere on the page if you'd like, but perhaps part of that is predicated on having a shorter main page. Short and sweet is definitely a solid option. For example, that's a nice Summary section, but cutting it down to the first paragraph and offering a "read more" link can shorten the page without losing it altogether. Also, including the rules on a separate page instead is probably going to work a lot better for most users. They say fewer than five in a thousand wiki users are editors, and readers have no reason to look at the editing rules. I would also try to convert that list of lists into an image gallery that links out to the lists to have some imagery to look at. Saunt3D (talk) 03:55, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
