The Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party (Arabic: Ḥizb al-Ba‘th al-‘Arabī al-Ishtirākī) is an Arab nationalist party active in the Iraqi Republic and the Syrian National State that espouses Ba'athism, an ideology mixing Arab nationalist, pan-Arab, Arab socialist and anti-imperialist interests. While inspired by elements of Italian fascism, the Ba'athists aim to remove Italian influence from the Arab world and unite all ethnic Arabs against Western imperialism.
