French Madagascar will change into Militärverwaltung Madagaskar under Emil Maurice and then later Erhard Milch when the Second Malagasy Uprising triggers and the Germans coup the French colonial government.

French Madagascar, officially the Colony of Madagascar, is a colony of the French State. Mainly constituted by the island of Madagascar. Alongside its parent country, it is part of the Einheitspakt. De jure administrated by the French State, its distance from its overlord, on top of German paranoia of potential French resurgence, has made it de facto administrated by Germany. The Native popularion of Madagascar are restless. Near the start of the game, the Malagasy Rebellion will revolt, with support from the Organization of Free Nations. The Japanese and their allies also support the rebellion, with both alliances seeking to undermine Einheitspakt control on the island. If the rebellion suceeds,a new authority will be established that is supportive of either the OFN or the Sphere, depending on which coalition has more influence. However, if the rebellion is suppressed, the de facto German administrators can coup the nominally French government, establishing their own authority.
