Gustavo Rojas Pinilla is a Colombian military officer affiliated with the Republic of Colombia. After the death of President Laureano Gómez Castro, he will launch a coup against the new President Roberto Urdaneta Arbeláez and installs a temporary military junta until the election. Afterwards, he wins the election and is elected as President.
