Its ideology is a combination of extreme socialism and nationalism, rejecting foreign influence and exploitative capital. The organization is notable for its willingness to resort to violence and particularly terrorist attacks. It is currently suppressed by all governments in the British Isles, but has the potential to come to power in Ireland through victory in a civil war should the situation in Northern Ireland deteriorate.
