Jean-Louis Tixier-Vignancour (born 12th October 1907) is the current prime minister of the French State.

Early Life and WWII

Jean-Louis quickly joined French politics by joining the monarchist French Action. As a member of parliament for the sub-Pyrenees, he advocated extreme right-wing views. After the Third Reich invaded France, he lent his support to Marshal Pétain and became a deputy minister. His job was to censor films that hit the Germans.

Vichy France

After the Marshal's death and Charles Huntziger's seizure of power, Tixier-Vignancour was appointed prime minister because he knew how to unite the divided Rally for the National Revolution. As prime minister, he had to sign many disarmament treaties hitting France and recognize the Burgundian State.

Private life

Jean-Louis Tixier-Vignancour is the godfather of Jean-Marie Le Pen's daughter Caroline.
