Lavrentiy Pavlovich Beria (born 29th March 1899-1961), was a Georgian partisan leader and a member of the Tiflis Three, the leaders of a major partisan group, the Transcaucasian Soviet, that launched an uprising during the West Russian War. Beria was a member along with Vasil Mzhavanadze and Valerian Kobakhia. He was publicly executed along with his comrades in he group in 1961, and has since become a martyr to freedom fighters in Kaukasien.
