In-game

During the German Civil War, Gille is Heydrich's security minister. He only has a role to play in the game if Reinhard Heydrich is controlled by a human player.

After the war, if Heydrich completed the "Deutsch-SS" focus, he will be the leader of Command Staff Waffen-SS, one of the many warlord states that form during the SS Civil War. Of the three possible leaders for the Command Staff (the other two being Paul Hausser and Sylvester Stadler), he is the easiest of the three to win over diplomatically, as he is the most opposed to Himmler.

After Heydrich defeats Himmler and commits suicide, Gille will succeed Heydrich as Führer, but will find himself in conflict with the Deutsches Reich, led by either Hans Speidel or Reinhard Gehlen (depending on if Speidel was rescued by the player during the start of the SS Civil War). Unlike the first one, the player will be forced into observation mode, not allowed to play as either side, and Germany will collapse into a state of anarchy, killing the nation off.
