Puerto Plata Invasion
The Puerto Plata Invasion and then the Dominican Civil War if Trujillo is ousted is a military operation conducted on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic. Carried out by the Caribbean Legion and supported by the United States, Cuba, Mexico, and Costa Rica, the ultimate objective of the invasion is to oust Rafael Trujillo, the fascist leader of the Dominican Republic, who is backed by the Iberian Union and the Greater German Reich. There are two possibilities in Puerto Plata Invasion/stage one. Rafael Trujillo wins against the Caribbean Legion or Rafael Trujillo loses and dies. If Trujillo dies Joaquin Balaguer whos ideology is a Civilian Dictatorship becomes the new president of the Dominican Republic. He will attempt to negotiate a ceasefire with the Caribbean Legion. If Balaguer succeeds his ideology becomes Paternalistic Conservatism and he will try to have a good relationship with United States and the Iberian Union. If Balaguers ceasefire fails the Dominican civil war/stage 2 will happen. The Dominican civil war has two outcomes, if Joaquin Balaguer wins he will still try to have a good relationship with United States and the Iberian Union. But his ideology stays as a Civilian Dictatorship. If the Caribbean Legion wins they became the new Dominican Republic and start getting ready for the election.
