Vasily Mikhailovich Blokhin is the leader of Vorkuta.

Biography

Vasily Blokhin was born to a peasant family in 1895. In 1921 at the age of 26, he joined the All-Union Communist Party and the Soviet state security agency Cheka in March 1921. Vasily quickly climbed ranks in the Cheka until he became the chief executioner. Apparently, Blokhin's brutality was unmatched; he personally oversaw mass executions of "enemies of the state," from the most insignificant ones to those of the most prominent Bolsheviks in the history of the Soviet Union.

After the conclusion of the Second World War, Blokhin became the chief of the Gulag complex located in the city of Vorkuta, even though the territory that is now Vorkuta belonged to the West Russian Revolutionary Front. The Gulag was de facto independent and no one attempted to challenge Blokhin's reign, for they would be executed or mysteriously disappear.

However, things would change with the rebellion of the gulag inmates against the guards; the formation of a dissident group put him in danger, but soon he would reign supreme once again as they fled southwards, forming the Ural League.

After the collapse of the Front, Blokhin with the help of his loyal guard reorganized the territory and became the ruler of the new warlord state.
