Brotherhood of Cain
The Brotherhood of Cain (Russian: Братство Каина, romanized: Bratstvo Kaina) is a Russian satanic cult mostly made up out of former Shturmoviki ("Stormtroopers") that is situated in Omsk. The cult forms after the second Russia collapse, should Sergey Taboritsky reunify Russia into the Holy Russian Empire. Despite their supposed faith in Satan, most members use the cult as an excuse to engage in their own bloodthirst. They are lead by Abaddon, formerly known as Anatoly Motsny.
After the collapse of the Holy Russian Empire, a squad of Shturmoviki lead by Anatoly Motsny took control of Omsk. Upon learning that Taboritsky was a Jew, Motsny experienced a crisis of fate and took hallucinogenic drugs in the hopes of finding the awnser. This would eventually lead him to the revelation that Taboritsky was indeed a prophet of God and a holy man as the Imperial Cult claimed. But this did not quell Motsny's anti-semitism. Instead a second 'epiphany' struck him: if God would ally Himself with a Jew, then Satan must be the true savoir of mankind. Thus he took the monkier of Abaddon and formed the the Brotherhood of Cain, with himself as its high priest. They have their forces tear down monuments and other symbols representing either Christianity or Taboritsky's legacy. Anyone caught worshipping any deity other than Satan is caught and prepared for sacrifice. Their main motivation is human abduction and sacrifice, continuously depleting the populace of whatever territory they can get their hands on. Their ranks are described as having plenty of serial killers. Omsk, already a dreary place under the Black League, is now the center of the Brotherhood's operations. Captives are taken into the bunkers under the city for ritual sacrifice and worse.
Should the Brotherhood of Cain reunify Russia in the non-canon post-Midnight gameplay content, Abaddon dubs the newly reunified Russia the Kingdom of the Hellborn and crowns himself the Son of Satan.
