Brotherhood of Cain

The Brotherhood of Cain (Russian: Братство Каина, romanized: Bratstvo Kaina) is a Russian Satanic cult that is formed by former Shturmoviki ("Stormtroopers") of the Holy Russian Empire, if Russia is unified by Sergey Taboritsky, after the Empire's collapse. It is located in Omsk and led by Anatoly Motsny, who was 'reborn' as Abaddon, the son of Satan.

Background

After Sergey Taboritsky's death leads to the collapse of the Holy Russian Empire, a squad of Shturmoviki lead by Anatoly Motsny takes control of Omsk. Upon learning that the Blessed Regent was himself a Jew, Motsny experiences a crisis of fate and takes hallucinogenic drugs, which leads him to two revelations: Taboritsky was indeed a prophet of God and a holy man as the Imperial Cult claimed, and if God would ally Himself with a Jew, then Satan must be the true saviour of mankind. He then proclaims himself Abaddon, high priest of the Brotherhood of Cain. Symbols representing any religions other than Satanism are torn down and practitioners are abducted and sacrificed to Satan.

Should the Brotherhood of Cain reunify Russia in the non-canon post-Midnight gameplay content, Abaddon proclaims the creation of the Kingdom of the Hellborn and crowns himself the Son of Satan.
