The Republic of Iraq (Jumhūriīyah al-ʿIrāq) is a breakaway state of the Iraqi Republic following the death of Abd al-Karim Qasim. They aim to remove all foreign influence from the country to create an independent, democratic Iraq.
Trivia
The Republic of Iraq was originally led by Saddam Hussein, who ironically, in real life, was a significant proponent of Ba'athism found himself opposed to his predecessor, Ahmed Hassan al-Bakr. Due to this drastically clashing with Hussein, who in real life, never had any interest in democracy, this was eventually changed to its current state.
