The Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic is a country in Central Asia. It borders Reichskommissariat Moskowien to the north-west, the Russian anarchy to the north, Turkmenistan, Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to the south, and the Xinjiang Border Defense Administration to the east.

• Kazakhstan was originally balkanised similar to Russia, with the Soviet government existing as a remnant state that continued to control most of Kazakhstan, based in Kyzylorda. Six other balkanised states existed alongside it: Aktau (which was removed in the v1.1.0d update, earlier than the rest of the other states), Pavlodar, Kostanay, Aktobe, Kokshetau, and Nowa Polska. All these states were removed in the Ruin update and the Kazakh SSR now controls the entire country.
