The Turkestan Legion is an Uzbek rebel group based in southern Uzbekistan led by Veli Kayyum Han that opposes the ruling government of the People's Republic of Uzbekistan. It additionally borders the Kingdom of Afghanistan to the south, the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic to the east, and the Socialist Republic of Turkmenistan to the west.

Trivia

In older versions, the Turkestan Legion was the ruling power in Uzbekistan, officially naming their country the State of Turkestan, though remnants of the government remained in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, which the Legion would eventually declare war on.
