History

Burma plays a large role in the geopolitics of Southeast Asia, an area that has been known for anti-imperialist, anti-Japanese movements. Burma is a prominent member of the Co-Prosperity sphere, and have extensive foreign relations with its surrounding neighbors.

Japan still maintains a strong military, political, and economic hold over the nation. Some of the more radical political movements in the neighboring Azad Hind, or "Free India" Government claim that Burma is rightful land, integral to the Indian nation, that has been stolen from them.
